The Parade has plagued London since 1901.
They are liars, cheats, muderers, and sinners. They are vile and unforgiving, not to mention bitter and merciless. They are your worst nightmare.
Of course, as long as you stay out of their way, you should be safe. At least, until they go on innocent person killing-sprees again, due to their anger and incoherant bitterness. But even though it seems like an angry and unintelligent operation, there's a lot of wit and genius behind the terror. The mastermind (or HEAD of the Parade) holds all the power. Only the council knows who the Head is, and everyone answers to the Head.
Tradtition says the Head should be an individual who has murdered at least 3 people and gone through a series of physical tests, but should also be able to fit in as a typical Londoner.
The tradtions also say that the Head should be a male. But Constantine St. John didn't think it mattered. As Head, she is in charge of the greatest operation in London. And news has escaped the confines of the Council that a woman is in charge. A hundred-year-old operation is crumbling because of a change in trends. But Constantine holds strong and makes sure no one gets past her.
The Parade is known for their merciless killings, often of cops or those who have wronged them in the past. Anyone can join, after a series of tests, oaths, and the recieving of a tattoo.
And they cannot be stopped.
The police forces are working desperately to make it right, but the situation worsens with every day they fail. And no matter what they do, the Police will be outnumbered. The Black Parade is everywhere. And no one can tell the difference between a Parade member and a commoner. They walk together, yet they walk alone.
Now the Head is fighting a battle with her operation, and they continue to torment the people of London. The police are fighting a losing battle but getting closer every day. And no one knows what will become of the city. Good or evil? Does it matter? Is there a difference anymore? Choose your side, and get ready for a battle. |
