*Destiny*
[/i]John Sheppard said looking around as he watched the people stumble into wherever they were. Certainly someone had misdialed the gate. It was the only obvious choice. Of course, he really wasn’t supposed to be with these people. He looked at the lieutenant who was to his right.
“No Colonel it isn’t”
Matthew Scott looked at the Lieutenant Colonel who had just made the point that they weren’t in Stargate Command. Of course they weren’t. Sheppard wasn’t even supposed to be with them if it hadn’t been for him parachuting on the main observation deck. Scott sighed at the Colonel as he heard the colonel speak again. Perhaps he should tell him the truth?
“Then where are we?”
John was very curious to know where they had gated. He knew that they were researching the ninth chevron. Perhaps this was ninth chevron. He watched as more people from the base stumbled into the room where they were. All of sudden Colonel Young enters through the gate at a high velocity landing within a few feet of Sheppard and Scott. Scott hurries over to where Young is as well as Sheppard. The three engaged in an inaudible conversation before Colonel Young faints. As the Colonel faints Sheppard steps back and looks at everyone. He was just placed in charge.
Earth & General Hammond
“Sir did Sheppard make it back?”
Colonel Samantha Carter asked General Jack O’Neill if her Second in Command had made it back to Earth. All she wanted to know if he had made it back alive. Computers indicated that there was an active wormhole, so Carter just assumed that everyone on Icarus Base and her Second in Command made it back to Earth in one piece before the explosion.
“No one came through the Alpha Gate or on Atlantis”
General Jack O’Neill hated to say that, but it was the truth. No one had gated to Earth or Atlantis. As best as he knew they were probably all dead. Which was a sad thing for him to think, but it was possible unless THEY had figured out the ninth chevron. But they had been messing with that mumbo jumbo shit for the past six months and it had got nowhere.
“Well sir that’s sad to hear, we’re on our way back to Earth, Carter out”
Samantha Carter turned off her communication device with Earth and sighed. She had a feeling that she had lost a few good friends. She was bond to lose friends, but not this way. Not in an explosion on a planet. They were all suppose to die off old age with grandkids, not at a young age.
With no way to get home and the only piece of communication with Earth is via stones. The Icarus Expedition plus John Sheppard are stuck from home. They must bond together to help one another survive. Everyday is a new threat. Can they survive or will they all kill one another before Earth figures out a way to get them home? Welcome to your Destiny.
